UFC president Dana White has heaped praise on Vince McMahon following the recent UFC/WWE merger. When TKO Group Holdings Inc. was first announced, few could believe that we were actually seeing UFC and WWE come together like this. Alas, it’s happened, and it’s been quite the journey to get here.

After the initial announcement back in April, the merger between UFC and WWE finally went through yesterday with all of the big players being present for the unveiling at the New York Stock Exchange. Dana White was also there, proudly standing alongside the likes of Vince McMahon, Triple H and his fellow UFC representatives.

Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has reportedly informed the WWE of her soon-to-be departure. Rousey went full-time with the WWE in 2018 after sporadic appearances for a couple of years following her departure from MMA and the UFC. After Ronda Rousey suffered a knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in 2016, she left the sport and in 2018 told Ellen DeGeneres that she likely would never make a comeback.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has confirmed that Dana White and Vince McMahon will continue to have key roles in UFC and WWE. Earlier this week, Endeavor made the blockbuster announcement that they had purchased a 51% stake in WWE. In addition to that, it was revealed that WWE and UFC would be forming a new publicly listed company together.

Conor McGregor and Paul Heyman squared off on social media last night following the news that UFC and WWE may be forming a new publicly traded company. Yesterday, news broke that Endeavor have reportedly purchased WWE. As many will know, Endeavor also bought the Ultimate Fighting Championship back in 2016 for a fee of around $4 billion.

Logan Paul put on a stellar performance in his third WWE match, but he didn’t walk out unscathed. Paul challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this past Saturday. Paul’s performance has been heavily praised, as many feel he has the “It” factor in the wrestling business. Ultimately, Reigns emerged victorious after hitting a superman punch followed by the Spear.

UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier was involved in the main event of WWE Extreme Rules this past Saturday night. Cormier was the special guest referee for the Fight Pit match between former UFC fighter Matt Riddle and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. During the match, Riddle and Rollins quickly learned that “DC” isn’t to be played with. At one point, both men shoved Cormier out of the way and the former two-division UFC champion pushed back at both men and got in their faces to let them know he was the law.
