“Wondergirl” faces Dayane Cardoso in mixed rules contest at ONE Fight Night 19

Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak makes her return to the ring in a hybrid-style matchup on February 16.

This time, she faces Dayane Cardoso in a women’s strawweight mixed rules contest at ONE Fight Night 19 on Prime Video. The event airs live in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The highlight of this matchup lies in its dynamic nature. In fact, it’s reminiscent of the electrifying clash between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang Jitmuangnon in 2022.

Jaroonsak and Cardoso will engage in a four-round battle alternating between Muay Thai and MMA rounds.

In the absence of a knockout or submission, the judges will rule the fight a draw.

“Wondergirl” is no stranger to unique challenges, having faced ONE Women’s Strawweight MMA World Champion Xiong Jing Nan in a special rules striking match last year.

Unfortunately, she fell short in that encounter, with the pair battling it out in smaller 4-ounce gloves.

In her next outing, the Thai star will have the opportunity to showcase all her weapons. She’ll combine her extensive experience in Muay Thai with her growing proficiency in MMA.

Notably, the Brazilian marked her promotional debut in April 2022. There, she scored a spectacular TKO victory over former ONE World Title challenger Ayaka Miura.
