Sean Brady reacts after Ian Machado Garry suggests that he’s not an “interesting” fight: “I want to fight someone who I won’t get ragdolled by”
Sean Brady has given his reaction to divisional rival Ian Machado Garry saying he isn’t an interesting fight.
Last weekend, Ian Machado Garry continued his surge up the welterweight rankings with a big win over Geoff Neal. While it certainly wasn’t his most emphatic, the 26-year-old stretched his unbeaten record to 14-0 and took another step up the latter at 170 pounds.
In terms of what’s next for him, right now, nobody knows the answer to that. A parade of potential opponents have been listed for him to battle, with one suggestion being Sean Brady.

Brady, 31, returned to action in December, submitting Kelvin Gastelum. Now, after hearing that the Irishman doesn’t consider him to be an interesting opponent, Sean has responded on social media.

Brady hits back at Machado Garry
Machado Garry: “We have the same management. I don’t think Sean Brady’s an interesting fight at all. I actually don’t rate him in any way shape or form. There’s far bigger amtchups in the division that are far more dangerous.”
Brady: “Doesn’t interest me at all a.k.a. I want to fight someone who I won’t get ragdolled by.”
Sean Brady is the kind of fighter who will take on just about anybody that is thrown his way. Machado Garry, meanwhile, isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers on his way to the top.
Given where both men are at in the welterweight division, it certainly makes a lot of sense for the UFC to pair them up together.
