Dan Ige is fresh off a devastating knockout victory, and the UFC featherweight already has some intriguing names on his mind.

Ige shared the Octagon with Andre Fili in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card in Las Vegas on February 10. One solid punch to the jaw, and Fili was done. Ige landed one more punch on a floored Fili to seal the deal. “50K” lived up to his nickname, snagging a “Performance of the Night” bonus for his efforts.

Now that he has rebounded from a unanimous decision loss to Bryce Mitchell in a big way, Dan Ige has an idea of when he wants to get back to some action, and who his next opponent might be.

Dan Ige Lays Out Future Plans Following UFC Vegas 86

Speaking with reporters following his quick KO win over Andre Fili, Ige set his sights on another fight for late summer inside the Las Vegas Sphere (via MMAJunkie).

“We’ll get back to work in maybe August or September,” Ige told MMA Junkie and other reporters post-fight at UFC Fight Night 236. “Like I said at media day, I would love to fight at The Sphere.”

As far as an opponent goes, Ige will be paying close attention to two key fights in his weight class. He thinks there is an opportunity to score a big fight.

“There’s multiple options,” Ige said. “If (Diego) Lopes gets through Sodiq (Yusuff), that could be a good one, or I could take out the loser of maybe (Brian) Ortega and Yair (Rodriguez) – one of those guys depending how their fight goes in Mexico City. I know they’re going to want to stack it for Mexican Independence Day with a bunch of Mexicans, but I’ve got a left hook like a Mexican, too.”
